This Drill Bit was developed specifically for a client who was having a serious problem drilling a granite rock to create the concrete base for the construction of a large building.

 

Even using SAE 4140 drills with WC + Diamond bits, these did not have good durability.

 

Tungstek developed this drill using a Nickel and Diamond alloy on its leading edge, providing 11x greater durability when compared to the previous one.

 

This is a great example of a customized solution that can be developed by Tungstek do Brasil.
