Tunlox is a rolled steel with 475 HBW (45 HRC) hardness developed to work at high temperatures and high demands for mechanical stress and impact. Imported from Europe, it is tempered at 590ºC and is sold in thicknesses from 5 to 130 mm. Its structure contains chemical elements C, Si, Mn, Cr, Mo, V and Ni. It has a mechanical strength of 1450 MPa (7 times that of ASTM A-36), an expansion coefficient of 13% and an impact of 30 J.
