​This equipment is used to compact the gravel that comes loose from the railway tracks over time and with use.  

Made of cast steel, it is machined and coated with sintered tungsten carbide tablets fixed by the hot diffusion process. Tungstek do Brasil has nationalized this part, reducing the cost and delivery time, facilitating supply to the Brazilian railway industry.
